AELA’s Earth Arts program aims to stimulate and showcase the role of creativity in transforming our societies to Earth-centred systems of governance. AELA has been hosting arts activities – including art exhibitions and creative conversations – since we were created in 2012. In the past few years, we’ve also been able to support a biennial creative writing anthology “Earthwords and Artlings” and an online gallery featuring amazing works by artists around Australia.
We’re excited to launch our second ‘Earthwords and Artlings’ Anthology next month, as part of Earth Laws Month. The theme is ‘Tipping Points’ and we can’t wait to share the provocative poetry, short stories, photographs and artworks that make up the publication.
“Earth Laws Month” will feature events and discussions to showcase all things Earth-centred across law, governance, ethics, and the arts. See the Earth Arts events that are part of AELA’s Earth Laws Month here
